Malon grew up in her father's forest, she was a favored child and in her early years she was taught in all the ways of arts and languages by Father. Whom had raised his daughter in his ways of magic and solitude. Though with the lessons of beauty came the lessons of horror and she was quick to learn about the horrid place that lay outside of the forest.

I didn’t tell him, I don’t know what he would say. There must be something wrong with Father's lessons; I can only compare it to when he first taught me to write.
